Tomahawks and Briefcases: Chapter 21
Connor gulped as he pulled his shirt over his head. Today was the day of the college visit and he knew his father would be dragging him out to the car any second now. He exhaled deeply, tugging on his flannel before heading downstairs.

Haytham was already at the table, just finishing his tea. “Finally ready? About time,” he said, getting up.

Connor rolled his eyes. “Can we just go?”

Haytham nodded, pulling on his coat on and gesturing towards the door.

Connor let his mind wander as his father drove.

“A penny?”

Connor looked at Haytham. “What?”

ASSASSINS CREED-Start upCyril was an orphan at birth.  Never knew who is family was or what they looked like.  The only thing he knew was where he was born and when.  After being moved around from foster home to foster home, he finally found a place to call home.  
He was 11 when he moved into the Fawkes household.  Armand and his wife Victoria.  Armand was a direct decendent to non other than Guy Fawkes himself.  Cyril was taught many things about computers and technology, advanced mathematics as well as they way of unarmed combat.  Victoria was a master marksman and trained him in the ways of the gun.  Armand taught Cyril acrobatics and parkour.  He said it would be useful for when he needed it.  They trained him from dawn to dusk, every day of the week.  
And Cyril was always happy to train, not knowing what the training was for.
By the age of 13, Cyril had become an expert marksman like Victoria and was able to beat any opponent at hand to hand cASSASSINS CREED-Start up by ~glitchxhavoc
ASSASSINS CREED-Start Up chpt 2Cyril shook nervously in his seat.  "What?  How can I stop someone?  I'm just a kid."  Armand shook his head.  He gave Cyril a very serious look.  "You have learned the ways and you are more than ready.  You are the perfect student."  Cyril shook his head.  He did not want to be the one to take someones life.  Cyril shouted at them, "I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS!!!"  Victoria turned around and had a silenced .45 aimed at his head.  Cyril had only seen that look on Victoria's face when she was about to pull the trigger.
"You listen, and better listen well.  You know too much for your age.  It is your duty as a soldier to take on this mission or I will be forced to snuff you out." Victoria snapped angrily.  "This man is part of a war going on for ages, you showed potential and might be one of our greatest prodigies ever.  They will kill you if you don't kill them first."  She was dead serious.ASSASSINS CREED-Start Up chpt 2 by ~glitchxhavoc

Der Himmel war Wolkenlos, was die Sonne nur so herab brennen und die Dachziegel angenehm warm werden ließ. Ich kletterte geschickt auf die Mitte des Daches, um mich dann genau dort nieder zusetzen. Die Aussicht auf meine Umgebung war schön - ohne Zweifel! - aber der Gestank.. Eines Tages würde ich daran ersticken! Wenn ich überhaupt solange hier bleiben würde. Seufzend lehnte ich mich zurück, wobei ich mich auf meine Arme stützte und mein Gesicht gen Sonne drehte. Die Hitze hinterließ ein wohltuendes Prickeln auf meinen Wangen. The Creed

"Nothing is true; Everything is permitted."

The creed, three simple rule's. The basis of a faction, a faction of the shadow's. They call us assassin's, they call us murderer's ... we fight for peace, but is that so hollow, so trivial a cause? No, it is not. Our enemies think it that way ...

The first of the three maintains order and ensures that our kind stay on the right path. "Stay your blade from innocent flesh."

The second is what give's us strength, for it allows us to accomplish our task's with little difficulty. A blade in the crowd, if you will. "Hide in plain sight."

The third is the most important, the worst of all betrayal's. To break this code is to betray the brotherhood. "Never compromise the brotherhood."

To follow these key rule's is to be a true assassin, to derive your strength from what you truly are. Now my brother, you have entered the fold. Betray it and you life shall be stolen by my blade.

To say that nothing is true; is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization.

To say that everything is permitted;is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic.

Remember, there is no greater weapon than to be unseen.

Hello. :3 I have one fanpage on facebook about Assassin's Creed. I write there in my national language (Polish from Poland) and have very small number of likes and if it won't be a problem can you put link to it in your journal? We put there fanarts, quotes or information from AC-world.
